Covid-19

Current service modifications

For our in-person services, we are actively implementing some modifications for safety and health during this Covid-19 season. Some of these changes involve scheduling, and some involve service procedures. Here is a summary of some of these temporary modifications:

  • Our modified service schedule is:

Sunday

Early Service for Seniors 65 and over – 9am

Morning Service – 11am

Evening Service – 6pm

Wednesday

Midweek Service – 7pm

  • The early service at 9am on Sundays is intended for senior citizens 65+. The service is identical to the 11am service and provides ample space for social distancing.
  • 10am Sunday School for children, teens, and adults is temporarily suspended
  • Enhanced safety and distancing signage clearly visible in church building
  • Entrance and exit for the auditorium building is reduced to just the front/north entrance of the building, under the main overhang
  • Touchless temperature checks required at main entrance for each individual to enter the building
  • Social distance reminders are posted to keep a minimum of 6’ distance between you and anyone who does not live in your household
  • COVID-19 symptom list and guidelines posted at entrance, with verbal confirmation of qualification/agreement required before entry is permitted
  • Seating only available in every other pew. In the available pews, distancing is required between members of different households
  • No passing of offering plates — stationary donation table available to drop offerings in as you enter/exit the auditorium
  • No physical hymnals used for singing
  • Hand sanitizer stations available at main entrance and exit, as well as inside the auditorium
  • Masks available for all at main entrance
  • Enhanced policy for more thorough cleaning & disinfecting before each service
  • Anyone who is found to have an elevated temperature or exhibits obvious symptoms will be asked to remove themselves from the building to reduce any potential spread to others
