Jesus always treated children with compassion, love, and care. Our goal is to provide a children’s program that treats kids the same way Jesus would. Each part of the program is designed to show and share the love of Jesus while helping to build a solid Biblical foundation early in life. We want our children to grow up believing that church is fun! Our weekly various Sunday school classes offer creative Bible lessons, singing, and fun-filled games that get kids excited about church.
On Wednesday nights, Route 252 is the place where kids 4 years old through 3rd grade meet for Bible stories, crafts, songs, and snacks. Throughout the year, there are also several exciting activities for kids to enjoy.
All children’s workers are carefully screened to ensure children’s safety.
The youth ministry focuses on helping parents prepare their young people to live a life that is balanced and pleasing to God. Through weekly Bible classes, activities, teen conferences, and camps, teens are challenged to make their life count for God in an atmosphere that is both fun and engaging.
Our Youth Group enjoys dozens of activities a year, covering a wide and crazy range of different things! Each activity is usually accompanied by good food, great fellowship, and intense fun. Follow us on Facebook to keep up with current events and activity announcements and recaps. Click here to download an Activity Release Form.
Every year, usually in the Summer months, we plan different trips for the teenagers of BBC. These trips give the students a chance to grow solid friendships, make spiritual decisions and make memories that will last a lifetime. Teen Camp and Youth Conference are among the annual Teen trips.
We believe the teen years are a phenomenal time to learn the value of working hard and serving others. Each week, our teens have the opportunity to serve and volunteer in various areas and ministries of our church. The local church can and should play an active role in the life of a teenager!
We had our first annual Youth Explosion in the Spring of this year, and we believe it was very successful! For the Explosion, we send our buses for three nights to various High Schools and Jr. High Schools in the area, and pick up teens from all over our community. Each night is packed with awesome prizes, free food and a challenging message.
Sunday Adult Bible Classes
One of the best ways to quickly become a part of BBC is through an Adult Bible Class. We have several classes that meet every Sunday at 10AM. Each class has a welcoming environment, a friendly teacher and very helpful Bible teaching. Here are the classes that are currently meeting-

Young married couples can enjoy fellowship and Bible study with other couples in the same stage of life. This class, taught by Jerry Faulkner, meets from 10:00-10:45 every Sunday morning in Room 109 of the main church building.

Ladies Bible Studies
Several times a month, groups of ladies get together for times of food and fellowship around God’s Word. All ladies are welcome, and childcare is often provided. Times of these Bible studies are announced in the weekly church bulletin and during church services.
Bethel Baptist Church is blessed to have a large number of senior citizens who attend our church, some of which have been faithful members of the church for decades. This precious group in our church is affectionately referred to as the ‘Senior Saints.’ The Senior Saints meet several times throughout the year for times of activity and fellowship.

Whether you’re in the middle of a move to JBLM or have lived in the community for a while, we invite you to be our guest at church this Sunday. Much of our church is made up of active, former, or retired military. We can appreciate the sacrifices and unique challenges that come with military life, and we understand the strain and pressure that is on families during deployments, separations, and moves. We want to be a help to you and your family and help you connect as quickly as possible with a church home away from home.
